The New Year was kicked off in the right direction with an intense, two-day search planners course using the SarSys system.
By using the statistics from numerous sources, and by factoring in age, gender, mental health, mobility and lots of other potential factors, allowed the SAR team to determine how to plan searches for missing people. The technology was provided by SarSys which provides incident and search management in one place for planning, organising, deploying and tracking search teams.
