The Kings Award For Voluntary Service

Saturday saw team members including search dog’s Zak and Bowie welcome some very special guests to TSAR’S home base in Callander. We were honoured to have Lord Lieutenant Alan Simpson OBE Stirling and Falkirk present us with our official award after our success on winning The Kings Award For Voluntary Service. We also had the pleasure of sharing our presentation day with Provost Elaine Watterson, Mrs Jacquie Fingland, Deputy Lieutenant and Colonel Charlie Wallace, Deputy Lieutenant who all made the event very special, we thank you all for taking the time to spend with us.

It is an incredible honour to have this award and one we especially dedicate to our team founder Stuart Ballantyne. He will always be in all our hearts and having this award is a tribute to everything he achieved and worked for in Search and Rescue.
