Stirling High School Philanthropists Choose TSAR

The third-year students of Stirling High School have worked incredibly hard over the last few months researching local charities and presenting to panels of judges as part of the inaugural YPI Scotland project.
The finals were held on Friday morning with TSAR team member Gordon attending and we are delighted to announce that Trossachs Search & Rescue were the winning charity and received an exceptionally generous cheque for £3000!
The whole Trossachs SAR team are overwhelmed to receive this significant amount from hard-working students, Tom Howie, Nicol Morrow, Ewan White and Fraser White and we cannot thank you enough. This will make a huge difference to the community work we do and will be spent on much needed new radios to help continue the team’s search and rescue activities in the area.
