In November 2022, perpetual fundraiser and team member Sarah and hiking buddy John have arrived in Morocco and were gearing up for their mega Saharan adventure! They trekked 100 miles across the Sahara Desert over 4 days from Ouarzazate to Oulad Driss via Sidi Naji (said to be the place of the holy man) making their way over some of the Sahara’s largest sand dunes at Erg Zaher, camping each night under the stars.
Sarah says she was ” 70% excited, 30% nervous, or it could be the other way round, I’m not quite sure”
